Two more patients died of COVID-19 in Tripura on Monday, taking the state’s death tally to even.
State health secretary SK Rakesh, informed Northeast Now over the phone that the two deceased are two women and one was a resident of Kamalpur in Dhalai district while the other was from Melaghar in Sepahijala district.
They were respectively 62-year-old and 80-year-old.
It may be mentioned here that there has been a sudden spike in the death rate in Tripura and four persons have succumbed to the infection in the last two days.
