Thirteen (13) BSF personnel, who tested positive for COVID-19, were discharged from the hospital on Friday taking the overall tally to 42.
The BSF personnel were discharged from the Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital in Agartala.

The BSF men were given a rousing send-off by the hospital staff.
“We are happy and proud to work something for the people,” said Dr Pradeep Bhowmik, a senior doctor of the hospital.
“There is no scope of fear and we are confident of winning this battle against COVID-19,” he added.

As per guidelines the released patients will now be sent to the mandatory 14 days home quarantine.
