The police today arrested four NLFT members from Takarjala in Sepahijala district of Tripura.
The cadres have been identified as Lalthang Reang, Jiban Reang, Ganaram Reang alias Ganga alias Baileng and Singhamani Reang.
According to sources, the police recovered two pistols, two magazines, 17 bullets, four SIM cards, some money and extortion notices issued by the banned militant outfit from the four cadres.

The police brought the four cadres to the NCC police station and later one of them was shifted to the Agartala East police station.
While Lalthang Reangm hailed from Bhandarima in Kanchanpur, Jiban Reang and Ganaram Reang were residents of Khedachhara and Anandabazar in the North Tripura district respectively.
Singhamani Reang’s address is unknown as of now.
Militant activities have seen a marked increase in Tripura during the past year.
The inspector general of Border Security Force (BSF) Tripura frontier had recently admitted to the increase in militant activities.
The director-general of Tripura police said that due to the increase of unemployment during the lockdown, many youths of the state have ventured into unlawful activities.
Last month, NLFT cadres had abducted three workers from Ganganagar in Dhalai district.
