The state government is planning to introduce app-based cab services as the prepaid taxis and three-wheelers could not provide services at par with Ola and Uber.
The minister, however, assured that business of the existing facilities would not be hampered in any way.
He said that almost all the airports, except the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, in the country have app-based cab services but it will be soon introduced for the convenience of the passengers.
