Agartala: Six individuals are facing charges following the alleged vandalization and ransacking of a ruling BJP party office in East Rajnagar village, situated within the Asharambari assembly constituency in Khowai, Tripura.
A case was filed on Sunday against the unidentified miscreants, as confirmed by a senior police official speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The official stated, “On Saturday night, a temporary BJP party office in an interior area was vandalized by unknown individuals.”
“Today, a case was registered with Champahour Police Station, naming six persons. However, further investigation is required to determine their involvement in this incident”, the official added.

Sources from the BJP have alleged that Tipra Motha workers, after vandalizing the party office, set fire to chairs, tables, various types of papers and flexes, as well as campaign materials.
The accused miscreants of the Tipra Motha party are Chitta Debbarma, Raju Debbarma, Suman Debbarma, Chanjit Debbarma, Mahendra Debbarma, and Ujjal Debbarma.
