With the Lok Sabha elections just round the corner, all the political parties are going to the hustings promising the moon to the voters.
In Dharmanagar (Tripura), CPI (M) East Tripura candidate Jitendra Chaudhury is busy electioneering – with seven back-to-back meetings.
The CPM candidate said in his election meetings that the demonetisation decision of the Modi government “ruined many people”.
“The people in large have realised that they committed a mistake by bringing the saffron party to power in the 2014 elections. The BJP’s Delhi dreams are over and the people will vote for the CPM,” said an optimistic Chaudhury.
