Rakshit articulated, “The prosperity of India is intricately linked to the prosperity of its villages, where approximately 70 percent of the population resides. The central BJP has initiated a special program called ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan.’ Across the country, with over 7 lakh villages, our focus is on strengthening public relations (Jan Sanjog), not only in rural areas but also in urban centers. In Tripura, we have strategically decided to carry out this initiative at the booth level, and our state comprises 3349 booths.”
He elaborated on the plan, mentioning that senior leaders of the state party would visit each booth, dedicating 24 hours to intensively focus on public relations.
He added, “The ‘Gaon Cholo Abhiyan’ is structured in three phases. The preparatory phase commenced on January 20 and concluded today. In the second phase, leaders will dedicate 24 hours from February 7 to 11, and in the third segment, a survey meeting is scheduled for February 14, encompassing all the booths in the state.”
