State Informatics Officer Saibal Sarkar of National Informatics Centre (NIC) along with his officers called on Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu at Itanagar in his office on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema reviewed the activities of National Informatics Centre in the State.

Chief Minister Khandu appreciated the NIC for its active support in ICT projects and services including recent process of upgrading the VSAT systems in the districts of the State with new technology.

Chief Minister Khandu also requested the NIC authorities for strengthening of IT network in the State and assured of extending all possible support from the State Government for smooth implementation of various Digital India and State’s flagship programme.
