On Wednesday, Tripura BJP president Biplab Kr Deb visited different temples to take blessings before going to take the charge of the State’s next Chief Minister.
All sorts of security measures have been taken for the swearing-in ceremony.
Around 60,000 to 65,000 people can gather in the ground while giant LED screens have been installed in the Vivekananda Stadium where another 90,000 people can be accommodated.
BJP President Amit Shah, BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav and Assam Finance Minister, party’s main strategist in the Northeast Himanta Biswa Sarma are arriving here on Thursday to inspect the arrangements besides sorting out the differences between the BJP and its ally Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT).
It may be mentioned that the IPFT, which started a movement demanding separate Twipraland, demanded respectable positions in the BJP-led Cabinet.
IPFT president NC Debbarma on Monday said their party would support the new BJP-led government from outside if it was not given ‘respectable’ positions in the ministry.
As per media reports, IPFT would get two berths in the Cabinet.

While the BJP emerged as the single largest party winning 35 seats, its ally IPFT got 8 seats and the CPI(M), which has been in power in the State for the last 25 years, got only 16 seats out of the 59 seats in the 60-member Tripura Assembly in the last Assembly polls.
