Sikkim held Meghalaya for a draw in the second match of the ongoing T Ao North East Football Championship at IG Stadium in Kohima, Nagaland on Thursday.
A goal by Dawa Sherpa in the injury time of the match helped Sikkim to get one point from this 1-1 draw match.

The Sikkim team, however, continued to counter-attack and Dawa Sherpa scored the equalizer during the extra-time.
Sikkim manager, Arjun Rai expressed that the squad played a wonderful game but they were unable to capitalise on several goal-scoring opportunities.
“Our keeper Nindup Lepcha made some crucial saves in the match,” he added.
Sikkim will play its last match against Mizoram and a victory or even a draw will see them through to the semi-finals.
