The three-day Namprikdang Namsoong Festival at Namprikdang of Upper Dzongu in Sikkim concluded on Sunday.
The final day had Sikkim Legislative Assembly Speaker L B Das as the chief guest.
State roads & bridges minister Samdup Lepcha, who is also the chief patron of Namprikdang Namsoong Celebration Committee, NNCC patron Chungkipu Lepcha, district collector T T Kaleon, officials from various departments and general public were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest praised Lepchas for their rich culture and traditions, and extended his best wishes on the occasion of Namsoong, the New Year of Lepchas.
The chief guest also offered the prayers and visited the Lepcha museum.
The last day of the festival witnessed eye-catching cultural show, release of a Lepcha book and video album, raffle declaration, football final and musical night.
