Sikkim’s newly floated political outfit Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) is taking out a rally protesting against the delay in seat reservation for Limboo and Tamang communities in the State Assembly at Gyalshing in West Sikkim on Saturday.
HSP vice-president and former soccer star Bhaichung Bhutia stated that the rally is mainly to protest the false promises made by the State Chief Minister Pawan Chamling to reserve seats for Limboo and Tamang before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
He added that the Chief Minister has been ‘deceiving and misleading’ the people with false promises on this issue. He added that despite of his announcement to take retirement from the politics on failing to reserve seats before 2019 the Chief Minister has not taken any step and still misleading the people.
Bhaichung appealed to the people to support the rally with their active participation.
