Sikkim, on Tuesday, logged 177 new COVID-19 cases, a health department bulletin stated.
The new cases took Sikkim’s overall caseload up to 21,403.
Of the new cases detected in Sikkim, 86 were detected in East Sikkim district, 44 each in West Sikkim and South Sikkim and 3 in North Sikkim.
The Himalayan state currently has 1894 active cases.

These new cases in Sikkim have been detected after testing 846 samples.
The new cases in Sikkim have been detected at a positivity rate of 20.9%.
18,944 people in the State so far have recovered from the disease.
Meanwhile, 256 coronavirus-positive patients have migrated to other states.
Sikkim’s recovery rate currently stands at 88.5 per cent.
