Sikkim, on Monday, logged 95 new COVID-19 cases and one more death related to the deadly virus, a health department bulletin stated. 

The new cases took Sikkim’s overall caseload up to 21,226. 

Of the new cases detected in Sikkim, 30 were detected in East Sikkim district, 18 in West Sikkim and 47 in South Sikkim. 

The Himalayan state currently has 1869 active cases.

These new cases in Sikkim have been detected after testing 371 samples.     

The new cases in Sikkim have been detected at a positivity rate of 25.6%.   

18,793 people in the State so far have recovered from the disease. 

Meanwhile, 255 coronavirus-positive patients have migrated to other states. 

Sikkim’s recovery rate currently stands at 88.5 per cent.
