2 more succumb to COVID-19 in Sikkim, death toll mounts to 121

2 more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in Sikkim.

With the death of two more persons, the State’s COVID-19 death tally has now climbed to 121.

Meanwhile, 33 more COVID-19 cases have been detected in the Himalayan State.

Sikkim till date has reported a total of 5,277 COVID-19 positive cases.

Of the total cases detected thus far, only 306 remains active cases.

Meanwhile, 4,877 patients have recovered from the deadly disease.

On the other hand, 94 patients have also migrated out of the State.

Notably, the district of East Sikkim has recorded the highest number of positive cases in the State.

A total of 4,053 COVID-19 cases have been detected in the East Sikkim district.
