Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) has been registered with the Election Commission of India.

A letter of the Election Commission of India stated that Hamro Sikkim Party has been registered as a political party under section 29A of the Representation of People’s Act 1951 with effect from 15/11/2018. The party was formed on 12 April in West Sikkim.

In the presence of leaders and office bearers at the party office here at Deorali, HSP vice-president RB Subba announced that it was a historic day for the party as it has been registered by the ECI.

The occasion was marked with the distribution of sweets to celebrate the registration.
