According to SGJS office-bearer and advisor and a senior advocate N B Khatiwada, the respondents include Ministry of Home Affairs, Election Commission of India, National Commission for ST and the Sikkim government.

Interacting with media at the Sikkim Press Club on Friday, Khatiwada said that they have sought that reservation of seats should be as per population for all communities in the State so that every community gets justice.

The SGJS also asserted that even the Limboo and Tamang communities would get their seats under this option and accordingly, they have filed the writ petition.
