Under SBI SMS Banking, one can get balance inquiry and mini statement by giving a missed call and sending an SMS from a registered mobile number.
It also takes one less than two minutes.

Now, one can get SBI balance inquiry through MSS or Miss Call.
At the same time, one can give missed call on 09223766666 or message ‘BAL’ to the number to get one’s account balance information.
One can get information about the last five transactions from the account through SMS.
For this, one will have to message by writing ‘MSTMT’ to the number 09223866666.
Apart from this, one can also get a mini statement by giving a missed call to this number.
One can also request for new checkbook through SBI SMS Banking.
For this, one has to message by writing CHQREQ to 09223588888.
After this the sender will receive an SMS, which will contain a number of six digits.
Now, one has to send ‘CHQACCY 6 digit number’ to 09223588888.
This message has to be sent within two hours of receiving the first message.
