RSS’ first Army School in Uttar Pradesh to start session in April

The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) gears up to start the session of its first Army school in April this year.

According to media reports, the Army school, known as Rajju Bhaiya Sainik Vidya Mandir (RBSVM), has been set up at Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh.

Rajju Bhaiyya was a former Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief.

The school authority has already started inviting applications for admission to the Army school.

It has been reported that the construction of the school building has almost been completed.

In the first batch, 160 students will be admitted to the school for Class VI.

The Rajju Bhaiya Sainik Vidya Mandir (RBSVM) at Bulandshahr will be a complete residential school.

A media report quoted RBSVM director Colonel Shiv Pratap Singh as saying: “We will prepare students for NDA, Naval Academy and 10+2 technical examination of the Indian Army.”

It has been reported that the principal of the school would be provided by Vidya Bharati, the education wing of the RSS.

Earlier, it was reported that the RSS would set up its first Army school in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh which would be named after Rajendra Singh alias Rajju Bhaiya, a former chief of the RSS.

Singh further informed the registration process will continue till February 23.

The entrance test will take place on March 1.

The entrance test will include general knowledge, Mathematics, English and examine students’ abilities in reasoning.

Singh further said: “After the written examination, there will be a written interview and then a medical test. We will start the session from April 6.”

While a total of 8 seats to be reserved for the children of personnel killed in battle, the wards of the martyrs will get relaxation in age limit.

The school, which will follow the CBSE pattern, will have no other reservation.

As per another report, both the students and teachers of the school will have to wear uniforms.

The students will have to wear light-blue shirt and dark-blue trouser and the teachers will have to wear grey-coloured trouser and white shirt as uniform.
