The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which registered victory in the Panchayat election under Patacharkuchi LAC by winning all the three seats of ZPC besides maximum number of seats for Gaon Panchayat (GP) and Anchalik Panchayat Members and GP Ward Members celebrated its victory on Thursday.

Under Patacharkuchi Constituency, all together 11 GP Presidents’ seats out of 15 were bagged by BJP candidates; 13 AP Members and 82 GP Ward Members’ seats were won by BJP candidates as per information.

As per information received from the SDO(C), Bajali, out of five ZPC seats in Patacharkuchi and Bhabanipur LAC, result of two is yet to be declared; out of 27 AP Members seats in both the constituencies, results of 21 seats have been declared so far and 15 seats have been won by BJP, 2 by AGP, 3 by INC, 1 by AIUDF.
Out of 272 GP Members, results of 21 have been declared and 11 were won by BJP, 3 by AGP, 2 by INC, 3 by AIDUF, and 2 seats were won by independent candidates. Out of 270 GP Ward Members’ seats, results of 192 seats have been declared. Out of 192 seats, 98 seats have been won by BJP, 40 by AGP, 38 by INC, 6 by AIDUF, 1 by BPF and 9 have been won by independent candidates.
