In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run two special trains (Train No. 05714 and Train No. 05630).
According to a notification issued by the general manager (operations), Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), while Train No. 05714 will run Rangapara North to Santragachi on February 2 (Trip 1), Train No. 05630 will be run from Guwahati to Kazipet on February 5 (Trip 1).
Train No. 05714 will leave Rangapara North at 1.30 pm on February 2. The train will arrive at New Misamari at 1.50 pm and will depart at 1.52 pm.
It will arrive at Rangiya at 4.10 pm and will depart at 4.15 pm.
The other stations where the train will halt are Nalbari – 4.30 pm, New Bongaigaon – 7 pm; New Alipurduar – 8.30 and New Jalpaiguri – 11 pm.
On February 3, the train will arrive at Aluabari Road station at 12.05 am; Kishanganj – 12.38 am; Malda Town – 4 am; Rampur Hat 6.31 am; Barddhaman – 9.01 am and will arrive at Santragachi at 11.15 am.
As per the notification, the other commercial stoppages are Majbat, Udalguri, Tangla, Barpeta Road, Kokrajhar, New Coochbehar, Dhupguri, Barsoi, Gumani, Khana and Bhattaganar.
The train has total 20 coaches with Sleeper Class – 12; General Chair Car – 4; Pantry Car- 2 (locked condition) and SLR – 2.
On February 5, Train No. 05630 will start its journey from Guwahati at 3 pm.
The other stations where the train will halt include Kamakhya – 3.15 pm; Rangiya – 4 pm; Kokrajhar – 5.28 pm; New Coochbehar – 9.15 pm and the train will arrive at New Jalpaiguri station at 11.40 pm.
On February 6, the train will arrive at Kishanganj at 12.55 am; Malda Town – 4 am; Rampur hat – 6.31 am; Andal – 8.50 am; Burnpur 10.46 am; Tatanagar 2.45 pm and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 10.50 pm.
On February 7, the train will arrive at Berhampur at 1.25 am; Rajamundry – 8.51 am and will arrive at Kazipet – 4 pm.
As per the notification, the other commercial stoppages are New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, Dhupguri, New Farakka, Pakur, Siuri, Durgapur, Asansol, Jaychandipahar, Purulia, Balasore, Cuttack, Khurdaroad, Visakhapatanam, Eluru, and Vijayawada.
The train with 24 coaches will have AC-2 Tier 4, AC-3 Tier – 10 (locked condition), Sleeper Class – 7, General Second Class -1 and SLR – 2, the Northeast Frontier Railway notice said.
