Due to upcoming foggy season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been decided to cancel several trains with effect from January 15-February 2.
The NFR on its Twitter handle said 15483 (Alipurduar Jn.-Delhi) Sikkim Mahananda Express, scheduled to leave from Alipurduar Jn. on January 15 to January 31, will remain cancelled between Alipurduar Jn.-Delhi.

Besides, 15484 (Delhi-Alipurduar Jn.) Sikkim Mahananda Express, scheduled to leave from Delhi on January 17 to February 2 will remain cancelled between Delhi-Alipurduar Jn.
“Inconvenience caused to the passengers is regretted,” said General Manager (Operations), NFR.
In another notice, the NFR authority informed that due to interruption of rail communication between Dibrugarh – New Tinsukia/Tinsukia section of Tinsukia Division, a large number of trains will remain cancelled/partial cancelled/diverted.
