Keeping in view the requirement of long-distance rail travellers, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to introduce four more pairs of long-distance weekly special trains from the third week of December 2020.
Train No 02250 Super Fast weekly special train will leave New Tinsukia with effect from December 18, 2020 at 6.05 pm for Bangaluru.
In return direction, train no 02249 Super Fast weekly special train will leave from Bangaluru with effect from December 22, 2020 at 3:15 am for New Tinsukia, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) CPRO Subhanan Chanda said in a statement.
Train no 05648 Express weekly special train will leave from Guwahati on December 22, 2020 at 3 pm for Lokmanya Tilak (T).
In return direction, train no 05647 Express weekly Special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) with effect from December 25, 2020 at 8.05 am for Guwahati.
Train no 02256 Express Special weekly train will leave from Kamakhya with effect from December 26, 2020 at 6 pm for Lokmanya Tilak (T).
In return direction, train no 02255 Express Special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak(T) with effect from December 29, 2020 at 1.15 pm for Kamakhya.
Train no 05930 Express weekly special will leave from New Tinsukia with effect from December 28, 2020 for Tambaram.
In return journey, train no 05929 will leave from Tambaram with effect from December 31, 2020 at 6:55 pm for New Tinsukia.
The details about the stoppages and timings of these trains are being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of Northeast Frontier Railway, the CPRO said.
“Passengers have been requested to consult the details about the advertisement and the COVID19 protocols being notified by the state government before undertaking journey,” Chanda added.
