For the benefit of the passenger of the Northeast region, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to increase the frequency of the 02503/02504 Dibrugarh-New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Special train.

The frequency of the train has now been increased from once a week to five days a week.

However, timings, stoppages and composition will remain the same, NF Railway chief public relations officer Subhanan Chanda said in a statement.

According to the schedule, 02503 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Special train will leave from Dibrugarh at 7-55 pm on every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to reach New Delhi on the 3rd day.

During return journey, the New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Special train will leave from New Delhi at 11:25 am every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to reach Dibrugarh at 5-30 am on 3rd day.

The additional services will start from Dibrugarh with effect from February 16, 2021 and from New Delhi with effect from February 19, 2021.

In view of the increase of the frequency of the Dibrugarh-New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Special train, timings of the 01666 Agartala-Habibganj weekly special train has been revised in few stations like New Karimganj, Badarpur, New Halflong, Chaparmukh, Guwahati, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, etc.

NF Railway has also decided to resume the services of the special train 09709/09710 between Udaipur-Kamakhya-Udaipur.

Train no 09709 Udaipur-Kamakhya special will start from Udaipur every Monday at 4 pm with effect from February 8, 2021 to arrive at Kamakhya at 12:35 am.

During the return journey, train no 09710 Kamakhya-Udaipur Special will start from Kamakhya on every Thursday at 6:30 pm to reach Udaipur at 12: 35 am.

This train will run via Goalpara Town, Alipurduar Jn, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Hajipur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Ajmer.

Services of the special train no 03147/03148 Sealdah-Bamanhat-Sealdah will also resume service.

Accordingly, 03147 Sealdah-Bamanhat Special will leave from Sealdah daily at 7:40 pm to reach Bamanhat at 11:20 am the next day.

During the return journey, 03148 Bamanhat-Sealdah Special train will leave from Bamanhat daily at 9:45 pm to reach Sealdah at 5:15 am the next day.

This train will run via New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Bolpur Santi Niketan and Dakhineswar.

It has been decided to resume the services of the special train no 03149/03150 running between Sealdah-Alipurduar Jn-Sealdah.

Accordingly, 03149 Sealdah-Alipurduar Jn Special train will leave from Sealdah daily at 8:35 pm to reach Alipurduar Jn at 12:30 am the next day.

During return journey, 03150 Alipurduar Jn-Sealdah Special train will leave from Alipurduar Jn daily at 3:15 pm to reach Sealdah at 8:20 am next day.

This train will run via Hasimara, New Mal Jn, Siliguri Jn, Thakurganj, Barsoi Jn, Rampurhat, Barddhaman and Dakhineswar.

Services of 02261/02261 Kolkata-Haldibari-Kolkata Passenger Special train will resume service from the next week.

Special train no 02261 will leave from Kolkata at 9:05 am on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to arrive at Haldibari at 8:20 pm same day.

During the return journey special train no 02262 will leave from Haldibari at 8:30 am on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to arrive Kolkata t 7:40 pm same day.

This train run via New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Bolpur Santi Niketan and Barddhaman.

Passenger trains bearing numbers 05749/05750 & 05751/05752 between New Jalpaiguri-Halbibari-New Jalpaiguri will resume operation with effect from February 8, 2021.

Passenger train no 05749 will leave New Jalpaiguri at 9:15 am to arrive Haldibari at 10:55 am.

Passenger train no 05750 will leave Haldibari at 12:45 am to reach New Jalpaiguri at 2-30 pm and passenger train no 05751 will leave New Jalpaiguri at 3:15 pm to arrive at Haldibari at 4:55 pm.

Passenger train no 05752 will leave Haldibari at 5:35 pm to reach New Jalpaiguri at 7 pm.

Introduction of the above trains will be beneficial to passengers who are willing to travel.
