Dibrugarh MLA Prashanta Phukan on Monday laid the foundation stones for three new roads in Dibrugarh.
Foundation stones for Bishnu Nagar road, Pubali path and Namghar path were laid in front of the local people. An amount of Rs 61,31,440 was sanctioned for the construction of these three roads. The roads will be constructed under TSP road construction scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Phukan said Assam government is committed to work for the welfare of the people.
“Our government is committed to construct good roads in Assam. In the coming days we will construct more roads in Dibrugarh,” Phukan said.
The three new roads will solve communication problems of the localities. It appears to be a new year gift for the people of these areas.
