Nagaland’s Covid19 tally rises to 9,207

Nagaland’s Covid19 tally increased to 9,207 on Wednesday after the detection of 56 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status on Wednesday said:  “Update! 56 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.”

Of the new cases, 27 cases have been reported from Dimapur, 24 from Kohima, 2 cases each have been reported from Mon and Tuensang districts while 1 new case has been reported from Phek district.

The health minister also informed that 148 more patients have been discharged in the state after their recovery from the disease.

The recoveries have been reported from four districts across Nagaland.

While 134 patients have recovered in Dimapur district, 12 patients have recovered in Kohima and 1 each case has recovered in Mokokchung and Mon district.

According to the latest Covid19 bulletin released by the Nagaland health department, So far a total of 7,934 patients have recovered in the state.

The disease has claimed the lives of 38 patients while 83 positive patients have migrated from the state, as per the data.

“Wear mask, keep distance, stay safe,” the health minister appealed to the people of the state.
