Nagaland’s COVID19 tally increased to 9,075 after the state registered 28 new positive cases on Sunday.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 tally said: “Update! 28 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.”
Of the new cases, Dimapur reported 22 cases while Mon and Longleng districts reported 1 case each.
Meanwhile, 79 more patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have recovered from the disease, the health minister informed.
While 71 more patients recovered in Dimapur, 5 others recovered in Mon district and 3 patients have recovered from Peren district.

So far a total 7,454 people have recovered from the disease in Nagaland.
Nagaland currently has 1,499 active COVID19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 33 people so far.
A total of 81 positive patients have migrated from the state.
