Dimapur: Nagaland University’s Department of Law received international recognition as Dr. Rumi Dhar, assistant professor, was awarded the Best Paper Presentation at the 1st Asia Pacific Conference on Engineering, Education, Social Science and Humanities (APCEESH 2025) held recently in Bangkok, Thailand.
The achievement was confirmed in a university release on Friday.
Among the international participants, Dhar’s research paper titled “Regulation of Transborder Data Flows under Data Protection and Privacy Law: Past, Present and Future,” co-authored with Sonia Nath, was selected for the award.
According to the university release, the achievement reflects the authors’ unwavering commitment to meaningful legal research and academic discourse.
