Nagaland has registered 6 new Covid19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s positive tally to 11,917.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status on Tuesday said: “Update! 6 +ve cases of #COVID-19 have been detected on 29/12/2020.”
The health minister informed that of the new cases, Dimapur district has reported 5 cases while Kohima district has reported 1 case.
In the last 24 hours, 6 more patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have been discharged after their recovery from the disease in Dimapur.
So far a total of 11,464 patients have been discharged in Nagaland after their recovery from the disease.
Nagaland currently has 243 active Covid19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 69 positive patients in Nagaland.
A total of 131 people have migrated from the state.
“Wear Mask, Keep Distance, Stay Safe,” the Nagaland health minister has appealed to the people of the state in his tweet.
