Nagaland reported five more Covid19 deaths and 100 new positive cases on Saturday.

The health and family welfare department said 60 people recovered from the infection during the day.

The health department said 36 people tested Covid19 positive in Dimapur, Kiphire 2, Kohima 25, Longleng 3, Mokokchung 12, Mon 1, Peren 5, Phek 4, Tuensang 4 and Wokha 8.

Of the 60 recoveries, Dimapur registered 6, Kiphire 1, Kohima 9, Mokokchung 23, Mon 1, Peren 5, Phek 2 and Tuensang 13.

So far, 510 people succumbed to the infection in the state while 24,205 patients have recovered.

The total caseload stands 26,576 and the active cases at 1,112.

A total of 735 people migrated from the state.

Nagaland recorded 3 Covid19 deaths and 95 positive cases on Friday.

On Friday, altogether 61 people recovered from the infection.

Nagaland health department said 9 people tested positive in Dimapur, Kohima 47, Kiphire 3, Longleng 6, Mokokchung 11, Peren 1, Phek 5 and Tuensang 13.

Meanwhile, 39.96 crore Covid19 vaccine doses have been administered so far across India under the nationwide vaccination drive.

A total of 3,02,27,792 people have recovered across the country so far and the recovery rate increased to 97.31% on Saturday.

A total of 43,916 patients recovered during last 24 hours while the country reported 38,079 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 4,24,025, the health ministry said.
