Nagaland reports 29 new Covid19 positive cases, tally rises to 11,283

Nagaland has reported 29 new Covid19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 11,283.

Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status on Thursday said:  “Update! 29 +ve cases of # COVID-19 have detected today.”

Of the new positive cases, Kohima district has reported 15 cases, Dimapur 9, Mon 3 and Mokokchung district has reported 2 cases.

Meanwhile, 52 more patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the disease.

Of the patients, who recovered on Thursday, 33 recovered in Dimapur district, 10 recovered in Kohima district, 4 patients each recovered in Mon and Tuensang districts and 1 patient recovered in Phek district.

So far a total of 10,410 patients have recovered from Covid19 in Nagaland.

Nagaland currently has 696 active Covid19 cases, health minister Phom informed.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 57 people in Nagaland.

India has so far reported more daily COVID19 recoveries than the daily new infections in the last 24 hours leading to a net decline of 5,701 cases from the total active caseload, which fell below the 4.5% mark on Thursday, the Union health ministry said.

29 +ve cases of # COVID-19 have detected today.

Kohima- 15, Dimapur- 9, Mon- 3, Mokokchung- 2.

Also, 52 +ve patients have recovered.

Dimapur- 33, Kohima- 10, Mon- Tuensang- 4 each, Phek- 1.

Total +ve cases- 11283
Recovered- 10410
Active Cases- 696
