Nagaland reported 11 more COVID-19 deaths and 191 new positive cases on Monday, State Health and Family welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.
Phom said 285 people died of the virus so far while 611 migrated from the State.

The State’s active cases tally rose to 4,714.
While the State’s total caseload stood at 20,259, a total of 14,637 recovered from the infection.

Among the new cases recorded on Monday, 67 were from Kohima, Dimapur – 53, Tuensang – 28, Mokokchung – 25, Wokha – 6, Zunheboto and Mon – 4 each, Peren – 2 and Kiphire and Phek – 1 each.
Altogether 137 positive patients recovered during the day, Phom said.
Of them, 53 are from Dimapur, Kohima – 38, Tuensang – 13, Mon – 10, Kiphire – 9, Zunheboto – 8, Mokokchung – 4 and Peren – 2.

In another tweet, Phom said: “As announced on Sunday, 56 young medical doctors have been recruited and posted at various health care centres in the State to assist the people in this time of health crisis.”
