Nagaland registered 103 new COVID19 cases on Sunday, taking the state’s positive tally to 10,777.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status on Sunday said: “Update! 103 +ve cases of # COVID-19 detected today.”
The health minister informed that of the new cases, Kohima has reported 78 cases, Dimapur 24 and Zunheboto district has reported 1 case.
The health minister further informed that 66 more patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have recovered from the disease.
While 34 patients have recovered from Kohima district, 32 other patients have recovered from Dimapur district, Phom said.
Health minister Phom informed that so far a total of 9,203 patients have recovered from the disease in Nagaland.
Nagaland currently has 1,406 active COVID19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 53 positive patients in Nagaland so far.
A total of 105 positive patients have migrated from the state, according to the COVID19 bulletin released by the state health department on Sunday.
