The Mokokchung district administration and the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) will be providing food to the poor and needy people who have been severely affected during the nationwide lockdown.
The COVID-19 community kitchen, which will be run by the MTBA and the Mokokchung district administration, will be serving meals daily from 11 am to 1 pm under strict COVID-19 protocols.

Meals will be provided in the MTBA church premises for stranded labourers, migrant workers, daily wage earners and those people in need of food.

The Dimapur district administration and police initiated a move to accommodate the beggars, the homeless, poor and needy and the daily wagers at Dimapur District Sports Stadium on Tuesday to keep them away from unnecessary loitering in the streets.
Various organisations and NGOs, including Muslin community, Bengali Samaj, Marwari Samaj, Bengali Students Youth Organisation, Bhojpuri Samaj, Durgabari Committee, Rotary Club of Dimapur, Lions Club of Dimapur and many others are helping the needy and the homeless, including those under quarantine.
