Advisor to the Nagaland Government and NDPP MLA – Toshi Wungtung passed away on Thursday morning.
MLA Toshi Wungtung was 56 years old when he breathed his last at a hospital in New Delhi.
Nagaland deputy chief minister Y Patton condoled the death of the NDPP legislator.
“A very sad day for us! My deepest condolences to the friends, family, and supporters of Advisor Shri Toshi Wungtung Ji. Deeply saddened by his passing. He was a compassionate leader whose farsightedness, kind words, and deeds affected numerous lives. May his soul rest in peace!” tweeted Nagaland deputy CM Y Patton.

Nagaland Minister and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along said: “Deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Hon’ble Advisor, GoN, Shri. Toshi Wungtung. Wungtung was a double Master’s degree holder from Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
