Dimapur: The Nagaland Labour Department on Thursday announced that the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) scheme has been extended to all districts of the state, as notified by the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment via a Gazette of India notification.

In a circular, the State Labour Commissioner directed establishments employing 10 or more persons to register their establishments, along with their coverable employees, on or before January 31.

These establishments include shops, hotels, restaurants, road motor transport organisations, newspaper houses, private educational institutions, and private medical institutions.
