Nagaland has registered 67 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,671.
Confirming the detection of the new cases, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status on Wednesday said the new positive cases have been confirmed out of 407 tests.

“Update! Out of 407 results received 67 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed,” health minister Phom tweeted.
Health minister Phom informed that of the new cases, 58 have been detected in Kohima, 5 in Dimapur and 2 cases each have been detected in Tuensang and Mon districts.
Meanwhile, 16 more patients have recovered from the disease on Wednesday, the health minister informed.

“Also, State reports 16 recoveries of COVID-19 patients,” Phom said.

Of the recovered patients, 15 are from Kohima district and 1 is from the Wokha district.
The state health department in its latest data said with the new cases, Nagaland has registered a total of 5,671 positive cases so far.
Nagaland currently has 1,119 active COVID19 cases.
The total number of recovered cases in the state stands at 4,509.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 11 people so far while 27 positive cases have migrated from the state.
