On Monday, Nagaland has registered 213 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s tally to 3,012.
Confirming the detection of the new positive cases in the state, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet on Monday said the new positive cases have been confirmed, out of 828 samples tested.
While 105 new cases have been detected in Dimapur district, 104 other cases have been reported from Kohima, Mon district has reported 18 cases and 4 cases have been reported from Zunheboto, the health minister informed.

“Contact tracing is fully put in force & all primary contacts are kept under self isolation to avoid further transmission,” Phom further tweeted.

Out of 828 samples tested, 231 new +ve cases have been detected.

According to the data, prepared by the COVID19 war room, Nagaland, the total positive cases registered in the state stand at 3,012 while 8 positive patients have lost their lives due to infections.
A total of 904 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from various hospitals or Covid Care Centres across Nagaland after their recovery.
Nagaland currently has 2097 active COVID19 cases.
