A massive consignment of illegal Burma teak has been seized by security forces and the state police in Nagaland.
The seized consignment of Burma teak has been estimated to be worth around Rs 70 lakh.
The consignment was seized in a joint operation of the Nagaland police and other security forces.
The illegal consignment of Burma teak was seized on November 2, an official statement informed on Thursday.
At least four persons have also been apprehended by the security forces and the police in connection with the seizure.
The consignment was seized at Pherima in Dimapur district of Nagaland.

The security forces along with Nagaland police seized two trucks carrying 4500 CFT of illegal Burma teak.
The apprehended persons, along with the seized timber have been handed over to the Forest Range office in Dimapur.
