Nagaland has registered 6 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 902.
Confirming the news on detection of new COVID19 positive cases in the state, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet on Wednesday said a total of 170 samples were tested for COVID19, out of which 6 were found positive.

The new positive cases are from Dimapur district, the health minister said.
“Out of 170 samples tested, 6 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Dimapur,” health minister Phom tweeted.
The health minister further said two COVID19 patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have recovered from the disease.

The recovered patients are from Kohima and Dimapur, Phom said.
“And 1 each of COVID-19 patient from Kohima & Dimapur have been recovered,” Phom said in the tweet.
“We are monitoring the recovered patients under close observation,” he added.
On Tuesday Nagaland recorded a total of 51 positive cases.
Update!
Out of 170 samples tested, 6 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Dimapur.
And 1 each of COVID-19 patient from Kohima & Dimapur have been recovered.
