Nagaland governor P B Acharya congratulated four students from Kohima Science College -Zenwang Konyak, Menthsoju K Mongzar, Khrade Veso and Pushi P Khiamniungan – for bagging the “Best Project of the North East” at the recently concluded Techniche Science Fair in IIT Guwahati and also Paehauding, winner of entrepreneur associate innovation grant fund (2018).

Interacting with the students and principal of Kohima Science College Dr Lily Sema at Raj Bhavan, Kohima, governor appreciated the inquisitiveness and skill that led the team to develop Gynotox Botanical Pesticide Project which aims to reduce pest organisms in vegetable crops, ornamental flowers in gardens and so on.

He also expressed his appreciation to the principal, faculty and staff of the college for their encouragement and support to the students.
