At least three members of a family were injured after being stung by honey bees at Kamalasagar New Colony in Agartala on Sunday.
The injured persons have been identified as Pradeep Datta, his wife Muni Datta and their son Biswajit Dutt.
They have been admitted to Madhupur Hospital and the condition of Pradeep Dutta is said to be critical.
However, Dutta’s wife and son were reported to be out of danger.
Locals said Pradeep Datta was attacked by the bees when he had gone to a rubber garden close to his house.
When his wife and son tried to rescue him, they were also attacked by the honey bees.
