The people were also urged to get themselves vaccinated against Covid-19 in view of the new strains affecting lakhs of people in India.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the new variants of Covid-19 are more infectious and lethal, which is why it is all the more important to wear masks, maintain social distancing and maintain proper hand hygiene.

The poster campaign was attended by 53 locals of the area.

The Assam Rifles team also stressed the implementation of government advisories like “Dewai Bhi Kadai Bhi” and “Do Gaz Ki Duri”.
