Mizoram reported 2 more deaths due to Covid19 infection and 467 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram, on Sunday morning, of the new cases, 24 were confirmed during RT-PCR test at Zoram Medical College (ZMC).

While 35 cases were found positive for the virus during TrueNAT tests, 400 were detected positive during Rapid Antigen Test and 8 were confirmed during Fluorescent Immunoassay (FIA) test.
Mizoram’s positivity rate came down to 5.23% on Saturday.
With the new cases, the Covid19 positive tally increased to 48,462 in Mizoram on Sunday.

Of the total cases, 25,148 are male and 23,314 are female.
Mizoram currently has 10,656 active Covid19 cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of a total of 180 patients in Mizoram so far.
Meanwhile, a total of 589 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the DIPR at 5 pm on Saturday, of the recovered patients, 413 recovered in Aizawl district, 49 in Lawngtlai, 48 in Siaha, 31 in Kolasib, 31 in Mamit, 10 in Saitual, 4 in Serchhip,
2 in Champhai and 1 patient recovered in Khawzawl district.
Of the active cases, Aizawl district has 7,603, Lunglei – 504, Siaha – 187, Kolasib – 1,044, Serchhip – 42,, Lawngtlai – 413, Mamit – 520, Khawzawl – 0, Hnahthial – 44 and Saitual has 14 active cases.
On Saturday, Mizoram reported 3 deaths due to Covid19 infection and 524 positive cases,
The number of active Covid19 cases in Mizoram stood at 11,139 on Saturday.
According to the health bulletin, Mizoram’s recovery rate stood at 76.50%.
On Friday, Mizoram recorded one Covid19 death and 575 positive cases.
