Aizawl: There are over 8.58 lakh voters, including 4.42 lakh female voters, in Mizoram, according to the draft voter lists published on Tuesday.
Female voters outnumbered their male counterparts by 26,800.

As per the draft rolls, altogether there are 8,58,534 electorates, of which 4,15,867 are males and 4,42,667 are females.
There are 4,350 service voters, including 91 female voters in the state.

The draft electoral rolls were prepared for special summary revision of voter lists to include people attaining 18 years of age on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 in 2025.
Aizawl district with 12 assembly constituencies has the highest number of voters at 2,88,962 followed by south Mizoram’s Lunglei district at 1,01,002.
There are six assembly constituencies in Lunglei district.
Hnahthial district, which was created in 2019, has the least electorates at 16,276.

Claim (inclusion) and objection can be filed between October 29 and 28 November 2024.
Applications can also be submitted online through voters.eci.gov.in and the Voter Helpline App.
The final rolls will be published in January next year, according to officials.
There are 40 assembly constituencies and 1,301 polling stations in Mizoram.
