The Mizoram government on Tuesday deferred the pending board examination for class-12 to July 1.
A notification issued by Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) said the pending board examinations for class 12 and compartmental exams for class-10 have been deferred due to the imposition of total lockdown in the State, which came effective from Tuesday till June 22.
As per the new schedule, class-12 board examinations for pending subjects will be recommenced from July 1 to 3 next, the notification said.

It said compartmental examinations for class-10 will also be held on July 1.
Earlier, the MBSE had decided to resume the pending class-12 board examinations from June 16-18.
The board also scheduled class-10 compartmental examinations on June 16.
More than 4,700 students were yet to complete their board examinations in Economics, Chemistry, Sociology, Computer Science and Home Science.
The examinations were suspended in March due to nationwide lockdown imposed to curtail the spread of novel coronavirus.
