On the day when Mizoram COVID19 tally stands at 501, a total of 16 patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged on Tuesday.

The patients have been discharged from the Covid Care Centres in the state after they tested negative for COVID19.

While 11 patients have been discharged from Aizawl district, 4 others have been discharged from Lunglei district and 1 patient has been discharged from Lawngtlai district.

The recovery rate of Mizoram stands at 56.29%.

According to the data, shared by the information & public relations department of Mizoram, the state has registered so far 501 positive cases including 392 males and 109 females.

With the release of 16 more patients on Tuesday, the total number of discharged patients in Mizoram has increased to 282.

Mizoram currently has 219 active COVID19 patients while 1 case was migrated from the state.

Out of the active cases, Aizawl district has 176 cases, Lunglei has 35 cases, Serchhip has 2 cases, Lawngtlai has 3 cases while three districts including Champhai, Kolasib, and Hnahthial have 1 each active case.

Four districts in Mizoram currently have no active cases. These districts are Siaha, Mamit, Khawzawl, and Saitual.

Mizoram has not reported any COVID19 death so far.
