On the day when Mizoram’s COVID19 tally stands at 482, 8 patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged from the hospitals on Monday.

The patients have been discharged after they tested negative for COVID19.

While 6 COVID19 patients were discharged from Aizawl, 2 positive patients were discharged from Champhai district.

According to the data shared by the state information & public relations department, on its Twitter handle on Monday, Mizoram currently has 216 active cases while a total of 266 patients have discharged.

Of the total 482 COVID19 positive cases registered in Mizoram so far, 375 are males and 107 are females while 1 case was migrated from the state.

There is no report of any death due to COVID19 infection in Mizoram.

According to the data on the state’s latest COVID19 status, Aizawl has 177 active cases, Lunglei has 33 active cases while Champhai, Kolasih and Serchhip districts have 1 each active case, Lawngtlai has 3 active cases.

The other districts which currently have no active COVID19 cases are Siaha, Mamit, Khawzawl, Hnahthial and Saitual.
