Mizoram on Monday reported 4 more deaths and 444 new positive cases.With the new cases, the stateโ€™s positive tally increased to 64,228 on Monday.

According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the department of information and public relations, Mizoram, on Monday morning, of the new cases, 9 cases were found positive for the virus during TrueNAT tests, 416 were detected positive during Rapid Antigen Test.

A total of 19 cases were found positive for Covid19 during FIA test and no RT-PCR test was conducted at Zoram Medical College Hospital on Sunday, being a holiday.

Mizoramโ€™s positivity rate increased to 21.66% on Monday.

Of the total cases, 32,661 are male and 31,567 are female.

So far, the deadly disease has claimed the lives of a total of 224 patients in Mizoram.

Meanwhile, a total of 662 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease as per the health bulletin released by the DIPR at 5 pm on Sunday.

Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 439 recoveries, Kolasib-99, Mamit-54, Lawngtlai-51, Champhai-14,
Serchhip-3, Lunglei-1 and Saitual district recorded 1 recovery.

So far, a total of 53,466 patients have recovered from the disease in Mizoram.

Mizoramโ€™s recovery rate stands at 88.47%.

Covid19 active cases

The state currently has 10,538 active Covid19 cases.

Of the active cases, in Mizoram, Aizawl district has 6,315 cases, Lunglei โ€“ 758, Siaha โ€“ 326, Champhai โ€“ 584, Kolasib โ€“ 826, Serchhip โ€“ 134, Lawngtlai โ€“ 711, Mamit โ€“ 683, Khawzawl โ€“ 150, Hnahthial โ€“ 31 and Saitual has 20 active cases.

On Sunday, Mizoramโ€™s active cases stood at 10,981.

Mizoramโ€™s positivity rate on Sunday stood at 12.84%.

The state on Sunday registered 967 new positive cases.
