The COVID-19 scenario in Mizoram continues to worsen with every single passing day.
One more COVID-19 related death has been reported from Mizoram.
With this fresh death case, the State’s COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 25.
On the other hand, Mizoram on Monday logged 150 new COVID-19 cases.

With the new cases, Mizoram’s COVID-19 positive tally increased to 8829.
Mizoram now has 2117 active cases.
Of the fresh 150 new COVID-19 cases, 142 cases were detected through Rapid Antigen Test and 8 others were detected through TrueNat tests.
Aizawl accounts for the highest number of active COVID-19 cases.

There are a total of 1529 active COVID-19 cases in Aizawl.
Meanwhile, as many as 6687 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Mizoram thus far.
Meanwhile, the Mizoram government has decided to form a research team, which will comprise of medical experts and scientists, to conduct a scientific study and research on the second wave of COVID-19, an official statement said.
